Before I explain how Ollie works I am going to explain what he is. Ollie Owl is a site founded in December 2009 with the intent on giving out prizes absolutely free. All you have to do is "visit" and "give treats" to Ollie. All profits of the site go towards more prizes and the up-keeping of the site.

But wait a minute... how does he make money at all? Well if you view the support Ollie page there are various Ollie related things you can download. Everytime someone downloads these things we get money. We also get various donations. AND we rent out adspace for $10/month.

Everytime you give Ollie a treat your information is automatically recorded in a log. You are given a number when you visit our site, this number is assigned to your internet connection. So if you were to win on a computer at your house and then go to claim your prize at your friend's house it wouldn't work. So when Ollie picks a random identification number we set it up so next time that number visits our site you get redirected to a page where you can enter your e-mail address so further information can be sent to you.
